Tim and Mike are lifelong lovers of all things whiskey. The two of them have been best friends since meeting in kindergarten 50 years ago, and truly do consider each other brothers.  Since they were already talking about bourbon with anyone who would listen to them anyway, they decided to share their passion for this great American spirit with others on a professional, expert level.  That's where Brothers in Bourbon was born. They have both completed and passed the Executive Bourbon Steward course at Moonshine University in Louisville, KY and are certified Executive Bourbon Stewards.  This certification is backed by the Kentucky Distillers Association, and covers everything bourbon: from mash bills & distillation to scent & flavor notes, to the legal standards of what makes a bourbon a bourbon (among other things).  Tim has also achieved his Certified Bourbon Professional moniker from the Council of Whiskey Masters.

 

These two guys not only enjoy drinking bourbon, but also talking about bourbon, reading about bourbon, learning about bourbon.....  you get the idea!  They're just two regular guys who like meeting other people, sharing their bourbon expertise with them, and creating new bourbon experiences for everyone. They'd love to have you become a part of that group!
